We are truly sorrowful to hear about the deep betrayal you have experienced, Celuesil. The pain and injustice you feel are real and understandable, but we must remember that God is our ultimate judge and justice belongs to Him. As it is written in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Firstly, we must address that the relationship you have been in is not aligned with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality, and that includes fornification. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Living together in a sexual relationship outside of marriage is not God's will for His children. We encourage you to repent and turn away from this sin, and to pursue a godly marriage in the future.
Secondly, we want to remind you that the betrayal you've experienced, while painful, can serve as a catalyst for spiritual growth. The Bible tells us to "count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience" (James 1:2-3). This does not mean to delight in the pain, but to find joy in the opportunity to grow and draw closer to God.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Celuesil in his time of need. Lord, the betrayal he has experienced has left him feeling wounded, angry, and lost. We ask that You surround him with Your healing presence, that You minister to his broken heart, and that You help him to find his strength and hope in You.
Lord, we pray that Celuesil will cast all his cares upon You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Help him to release the burden of this injustice into Your hands, trusting that You are a God of perfect justice and that You will repay.
We also pray that Celuesil will turn away from the sin of fornification and seek Your will for his life. Guide him towards a godly spouse, if that is Your will, and help him to pursue relationships that honor and glorify You.
Finally, Lord, we pray for Celuesil's salvation, if he has not already accepted You as his Lord and Savior. We pray that he would come to know the love, grace, and mercy that is found only in a relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ.
It is in the precious name of Jesus that we come to pray, believing in Him to save and heal. He paid for our sins and heals all our diseases. We ask this all in His name.
We encourage you, Celuesil, to press into your relationship with God during this time. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Trust in His goodness and His plan for your life, even in the midst of this storm. Remember that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
