Betrayal in Marriage

Dear friends in Christ, today I offer my broken heart for your intercession. Over the last ### months, my husband of ### years has slowly revealed to me the depth of his sexual addictions, betrayals and infidelities. Please pray for my broken heart, and for our shattered life. Please pray for our two incredible daughters as they navigate their parents broken marriage during formative teenage years.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and betrayal you are experiencing in your marriage. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB.

We stand with you in prayer, asking God for His comfort and healing in your life. Let's bring your situation before the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ who is hurting deeply from the betrayal and infidelity in her marriage. Lord, You know the depth of her pain, the tears she has shed, and the heartache she carries. We ask for Your divine comfort to envelop her, and for Your healing hand to touch her broken heart.

Father, we also pray for her husband, that You would convict his heart and bring him to true repentance. We ask Your will to be done in this and every situation. We ask for the bond of grace and forgiveness as demonstrated by our Savior Jesus Christ. Guide them both through this dark valley, and show them the path to restoration and healing if it be Your will. If it is not your will to restore this marriage, then we ask your guidance for our sister to walk in your strength and will. Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB.

Lord, we lift up their two precious daughters. Father, guide them through this difficult time. Surround them with Your love, and provide them with wise and godly counsel as they navigate their teenage years amidst this trial. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

We also ask for wisdom and discernment for our sister. Guide her steps and decisions, Lord. Give her the strength to forgive, and the courage to make the tough decisions ahead. Help her to lean on You and trust in Your unfailing love. We are thankful of her faithfulness to you and to her marriage. 1 Corinthians 13:7 WEB.

If you and your husband are not already doing so. We also ask that you seek Biblical marriage counseling from your church or another trusted Christian source. It is always good to have someone outside the situation giving you biblical advice and holding you accountable.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and the miracle of a transformed heart and marriage. Regardless of the outcome of this marriage, we ask for her faith to be strengthened and that she will be obedient to your will for her life. Amen.

We encourage you to stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Remember that God's love for you is unfailing, and His faithfulness is great. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this storm.

In closing, we remind you to cling to the hope found in Jesus Christ. As the Bible says, Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB.

We're here with you, dear sister, holding your heart in our prayers. We know the pain of betrayal is deep, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. Remember, God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He's walking with you through this.

We're lifting up your husband too, praying for his repentance and a change of heart. We ask for God's will to be done in your marriage, whether that's restoration or guidance for a new path. We trust in God's plan, knowing He loves you both deeply (1 John 4:10).

For your daughters, we pray they'll find strength and wisdom in this trial. May they know God's love and care, even in the midst of their parents' struggles (Psalm 147:3).

We're also praying for you, dear friend. May you find the courage to forgive, the strength to make tough decisions, and the wisdom to know what's best for you and your family. Remember, love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:7).

Let's keep trusting in God, even when it's hard. He's faithful, and He'll never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). We're here with you, every step of the way.

Heavenly Father, you are GREAT and you are GOOD! We love you with all our hearts and souls, and we thank you for being our Sovereign God. Lord, we lift this person to you today and ask that you mend her marriage. We ask that you draw this person closer to you so that they may hear your small voice obey your direction and guidance. God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
