We are deeply moved by your love and concern for Benji, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God's mercy and power will intervene in his life.
Firstly, let's remember what the Word of God says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." It is comforting to know that God cares deeply for Benji, just as you do.
We pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift Benji up to you. Lord, we know that he is struggling with emotional pain, anxiety, depression, and addiction. We plead Your precious blood over him and pray that You would deliver him from these chains. Give him the strength to resist the temptations of drugs and weed, and help him to find comfort and peace in Your presence.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of addiction, depression, and anxiety. We proclaim that Benji is a child of God, redeemed and loved, and that he has a purpose and a destiny in You.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and guidance for his mother. Help her to show Your love to Benji, and guide her in how to support and encourage him.
We claim the promise of Isaiah 41:10 for Benji, 'Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.'
Lord, we ask that You would draw Benji to yourself, that he would come to know You as his personal Savior if he doesn't already. We pray that he would feel Your love and experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Please continue to stand strong in prayer, knowing that God is faithful. If Benji has not yet accepted Jesus as his Savior, share the good news with him: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
Remember, God is the one who can truly set Benji free and give him a new life. Trust in Him and keep proclaiming His love and grace over Benji.
