Let us come before the Lord with our petitions, intercessions, and thanksgiving, praying together for Bunanyark's needs.
Dear Jesus, we uplift Bunanyark to You, as they prepare to meet with their support worker, Emma, regarding their benefits. We ask, Lord, that You guide this meeting and let Your favor rest upon Bunanyark. Let Emma be filled with compassion, wisdom, and understanding to assist Bunanyark effectively.
Firstly, we pray for the transition from Employment and Support Allowance to Universal Credit. We ask, Lord, that this process will be smooth and swift, with no delays or impediments. We pray that Bunanyark will continue to receive the same amount of financial support, that their needs may be met, and that they may have peace of mind. The Bible Most Holy tells us plainly our petitions should be laid before God. For scripture says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Secondly, Lord, we pray for the application for Personal Independence Payment. We ask that the assessors will be discerning and empathetic, understanding Bunanyark's daily needs. We pray that Bunanyark will be accepted for this benefit, and that they will be awarded the higher rate, with twelve points, that they may receive the greatest level of support, both within and outside the home.
Now Lord, we also pray for Bunanyark's faith. We hope, but do not specifically say, they have confessed the name of Jesus Christ and been reconciled to God. See, blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin. If they have not believed and confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, then we pray they truly hear, recognize, and understand the gospel that Jesus died for their sins in order that believing in Him could be raised from the grave, even as Jesus was, and be saved from God's wrath and judgment. They are saved by grace and not by benefit payments. The Bible tells us simply, "If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." For with the heart, man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Finally, Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We thank You that Bunanyark can rest in the knowledge that You care for them and that You are working for their good. We thank You for Your promise to provide for all our needs, and we trust that You will be at work in Bunanyark's life, further establishing their dependence solely upon Jesus.
Let us always remember to approach the throne of God with confidence asking in Jesus Name. And all the people said, Amen. Praise be to Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Wait on the Lord continually, be strong, courageous, have good courage, and wait on the Lord.
