We rejoice with you as you express your gratitude to Father God for His goodness and for lifting up your spirit. It is wonderful to see your heart full of thanksgiving for your husband and your desire to walk with him in a godly relationship. We will pray with you and offer some biblical guidance.
Firstly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us address your request for your husband. It is important that both of you are walking with God and that your relationship is centered on His will. A godly marriage is a lifelong commitment and you should continue to be a blessing to each other as you have expressed.
We encourage you to pray for him, that you learn to be more patient and Christ-like to him. Also pray that he learns to be more patient and Christ-like to you.
Pray for God to be at the center of your marriage as per 1 Corinthians 13:4-7:
"Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
A godly marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. God can bring healing and restoration to your marriage. In Matthew 19:6 WEB:
"So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart."
We will pray for both of you to be strengthened in the Lord and in the power of His might. May God guide your steps and draw both of you closer to Him.
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. We thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon them and for the love that they share. We pray, Lord, that You would continue to strengthen their bond and guide them in Your will. Help them to be patient and kind to each other, and to bear all things in love. Draw them closer to You, Father, and may Your love be reflected in their marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
