We join you in praying to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician, who healed all manner of sickness and disease. It is wonderful that you come before Him in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God and it is by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, WEB). Remember that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8, WEB). So, He still is the greatest Physician and continues to heal. We will also emphasize the importance of always praying in Jesus' name, as there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12,WEB).
As you mentioned, doctors may have negative outlooks, but we serve a God of hope and miracles. Age is no barrier to God's healing power. While we acknowledge the reality of physical changes, we also hold on to God's promises of healing and wholeness. The Bible tells us that even in old age, we shall still bear fruit and remain fresh and flourishing (Psalm 92:14, WEB).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is trusting in Your healing power. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their life. Help them to do their part in maintaining good health through proper nutrition, exercise, and rest. Guide their medical team to provide the best care, and give our brother/sister a spirit of discernment to make wise decisions regarding their health.
We will not rely upon a doctor's report but will believe the report of the Lord (Psalm 118:8,WEB). Yet Lord, we ask for wisdom and guidance for the doctors so that all the glory is given to You. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray for healing, strength, and renewed hope. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's word and His promises. Remember that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and do not waver. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
