We are deeply concerned and moved by the dire situation that Rico has shared regarding St. and his family in Pakistan. Let us unite in fervent prayer and align our hearts with God's word.
Firstly, we must remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 15:18-19 (WEB), "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up St. and his family in Pakistan. Lord, You know the danger they are in, the hatred they face for their faith in You. We ask for Your divine protection over them. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, keep them safe from the mob that seeks to harm them. We pray for St.'s sister, that You would bring her safely back to her family. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith, comfort their hearts, and let them feel Your presence in this dark hour. We also pray for the persecutors, that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Rico, in this trying time, let us remember the promise in Romans 8:35-37 (WEB), "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, 'For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.' No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
We urge you, Rico, to continue praying fervently and to rally more believers to pray for St. and his family. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16, WEB).
Lastly, we note that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you, Rico, that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let us always pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
