Firstly, we want to gently address that while you mentioned Christ Jesus, the power in prayer comes from invoking His name with faith in His redemptive work. As Jesus Himself said, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB). So, let's ensure we pray in the name of Jesus, trusting in His power and authority.
Now, let's lift up your concerns about work and housing. In the Bible, we are reminded, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). God is with you, and He will equip you with the strength and courage you need to face these challenges.
Regarding work, remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." God values all honest work, and He will empower you to do it well.
Concerning your living situation, trust that God knows your needs. Jesus said, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Make Him your priority, and trust that He will provide a safe and affordable place for you to live.
