We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Tan Popatas, and we want to stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus that we can find true help and comfort.
In your time of distress, remember that God is always with you. As it is written in Psalm 23:4 WEB, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me." Even when it feels like others may turn their backs on you, God remains steadfast.
However, we want to gently remind you that our trust and dependence should be first and foremost on God, not on people. Psalm 118:8-9 WEB says, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in princes." While we, as your brothers and sisters in Christ, will pray for you and support you, our ultimate trust must be in God.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You to lift up our brother Tan Popatas. He is feeling overwhelmed and attacked from all sides. We ask that You surround him with Your protective presence, just as it is written in Psalm 91. Let Your angels encamp around him and deliver him from every evil. Strengthen his faith and give him peace in knowing that You are always with him. Help him to fix his eyes on You and not on the circumstances. We pray this in Your holy name, Jesus. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord, Tan Popatas. Keep your eyes on Jesus and trust in Him. We are with you in prayer and encouragement.
