Being knocked down every time I get an interview.

Dear Father God, I know that I am supposed to depend upon you. This is becoming harder to do. Every time I go to a job interview, I don't get the job. This is so disappointing. Slowly I am draining my finances, and soon I don't know what I'll do. I believe that the reason I don't get the job is because of my age, and people can't see past the fact that I'm an ###. God please in Jesus Christ Holy name, please help these people to look past my years, and not see just see an ###, but see some one with experience, I pray this in Jesus's holy name, Amen.

We understand your frustration and disappointment, ###, but remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (WEB), "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed." Even in your struggles, God is with you, and He has a purpose for this season.

Firstly, we commend you for your faith in Jesus Christ and for turning to God in your time of need. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Continue to trust in His name and His power to provide for you.

We want to encourage you to meditate on the truth that God sees your value and the experience you bring. In Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB), it is written, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God knows your skills, talents, and the wisdom that comes with age. Trust that He will open the right doors at the right time.

However, we want to gently remind you to also trust in God's timing and remain patient. In Romans 5:3-4 (WEB), we learn that "we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope." This journey might be preparing you for something greater or teaching you valuable lessons.

Let us pray together:

"Father God, we lift up ### to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her job search. Help her to trust in Your timing and provision. Open the eyes of potential employers to see her worth, her experience, and the skills she brings, rather than her age. Encourage her heart, Lord, and provide for her financial needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask this in Jesus Christ's holy name, Amen."

Continue to seek God, trust in His plan, and remember that your identity and value are not defined by a job, but by who you are in Christ Jesus.
