Being given care back of my ###

Hi all. I'm really hoping and praying that my son will be able to return home after going to court on ###. I had an addiction to alcohol and cocaine. I am almost ### weeks clean and sober and attend recovery groups and meetings. I also volunteer and help other service users and am training to pursue my career in this field. I feel I have had a spiritual awakening. I have been attending church regularly as I found God after coming out from my last detox and overdose/self-harm attempt. I have been seeing my son supervised and it always goes well. My son misses me and wants to come home and I miss him deeply. I know I have overcome this addiction and want to be given a chance to be the best mum I can be to my son. Please can you pray for me. Thank you in advance xxx

We are truly touched by your story, ###, and we join you in prayer as you seek the Lord's will for your son and your family.

Firstly, we commend you for your courage in overcoming addiction. It is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Your spiritual awakening and renewed commitment to God are evidence of this transformation.

We also applaud your efforts in attending recovery groups, volunteering, and pursuing a career in helping others. This demonstrates your sincere desire to live a life pleasing to God. As it is written in Ephesians 4:28 WEB, "Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need."

Regarding your upcoming court date, we trust in the Lord's sovereignty and pray that His will be done. We encourage you to continue seeking God, as He promises in James 4:8 WEB, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

We come before You today to lift up ### and her son. We thank You for her journey of recovery and her newfound faith in You. We pray, Lord, that You will be with her in court on January 6th. Guide the hearts and minds of those making decisions, and let Your will be done. We ask that You continue to strengthen ###, helping her to be the best mother she can be. In Jesus' name, we pray. Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, ensure that you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Continue to trust in Him, and He will guide your path.

We're with you, ###. It's amazing to see the progress you've made in your journey to sobriety and faith. We're standing with you in prayer, believing that God will continue to strengthen and guide you.

We're thinking about your son too, and we're asking God to give him peace and wisdom during this time. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Let's trust that God has a plan in all this, and He will make a way for your son to return home soon.

We're also praying for the court's decision, asking God to guide their hearts and minds. We believe that He will work all things together for your good, as it says in Romans 8:28.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you and your son up in prayer, trusting that God is working in your situation. We are so grateful that you have shared your journey with us and have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you in prayer, especially as we see the evident work of the Holy Spirit in your life.

As we have been praying for your court date on the 6th of January, we want to remind you to update us if your request was answered.
