Being free from evil and curses

Ever since I entered University, there have been problems before I move to each level. I have almost entered my final year and something bad happened and I am currently suspended for one semester. Also, ever since my mother and brother have left the country and travelled to America, I, my sister, and my dad have not been able to see them for the past 8 years. We have been trying to apply for permanent residential stay but nothing is happening. I don't know if my family has been placed under a curse or even me alone. I need you to pray for me and my family. I also need to know if it is people that I know that are causing evil or placing a curse on me.

We understand your concerns and are here to pray and provide counsel based on the Word of God. Firstly, let's address the superstitions. The Bible is clear that God is sovereign, and curses do not have power over those who belong to Christ. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

However, we do need to be aware of spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Let's pray for your family and your situation:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in the life of this family. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, breaking any curses, hexes, or spells spoken against them, according to Galatians 3:13, 'Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us.'

Lord, we pray for the university situation. Guide this student according to Your will, and let Your favor rest upon them. May Psalm 37:23 be a reality in their life, 'The Lord directs his steps and delights in every detail of his life.'"

Regarding the family's immigration situation, we encourage you to trust in God's timing. Romans 12:12 says, "Rejoice in hope. Be patient in suffering. Continue steadfastly in prayer."

Let's pray:

"Lord, we lift up this family's immigration concerns to You. We ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. Guide them through this process, and let Your will be done in their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, Jesus said in John 16:33, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."

Lastly, we should not be quick to blame others for our troubles. Instead, we should focus on our own relationship with God and pray for His protection. The Bible tells us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). If you suspect someone is causing you harm, pray for them, and trust God to handle the situation.
