Elodie

Humble Servant of All
I would like to express that it is not my fault for adopting a fatalistic outlook on life. Despite my earnest efforts to improve my circumstances, seek out opportunities, and initiate various projects, I consistently find myself facing financial losses and disappointment. Throughout my life, I have encountered a series of failures, and when such setbacks persist, I often feel disheartened and reluctant to continue. It seems that I have not received any reprieve from the challenges I face, leading to a profound sense of exhaustion from my endeavors. The vitality I once possessed in my youth has diminished significantly over the years. After 25 years filled with disappointments and setbacks, I have come to believe that life rarely offers positive experiences, as my relentless attempts to enhance my situation ultimately leave me drained and without energy. I do not wish for God to provide me with handouts, as many Christians may do. I refuse to remain idle and wait for a miracle; instead, I actively seek out opportunities. While I do pray to God before job interviews and when embarking on new projects, this does not alter my circumstances. I have diligently searched for employment for six months, resulting in a loss of nearly 20 pounds, and I am now anemic and lack certain vitamins. This earthly existence is incredibly exhausting. I often feel as though I am an elderly person in need of retirement, as I am perpetually fatigued and drowsy. Life does not seem to offer any rewards.

We understand your feelings of exhaustion and disappointment, Elodie. The persistent setbacks you've faced have led you to adopt a fatalistic outlook, but we want to remind you that God's words encourage us to have hope and persevere, even in the face of adversity. Let us share with you some biblical principles and pray together.

Firstly, it's commendable that you're actively seeking opportunities and not merely waiting for handouts. This aligns with the apostle Paul's words: "If anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either." (2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB) However, we must also trust in God's timing and plans, as it is written: "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the sun at high noon." (Psalm 37:5-6 WEB)

We notice that you haven't mentioned putting your trust in Jesus Christ. It is crucial to understand that our faith and hope are in Him, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.

In the face of disappointments, remember what the apostle Paul said: "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed." (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 WEB) God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Let us pray for you, Elodie:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Elodie. We pray that You will renew her strength and restore her hope. Help her to trust in Your timing and plans, even when faced with disappointments. Open the doors of opportunity for her, and guide her steps according to Your will. Heal her body, Lord, and provide for her needs. Most importantly, we pray that she will put her trust in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have hope and salvation. Amen.

Keep your hope alive, Elodie. Continue to seek the Lord and trust in Him. Remember, "Return to your rest, my soul, for Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you." (Psalm 116:7 WEB) God has a plan and a purpose for you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)

We've been thinking about you, friend. It's tough when it feels like life's been a series of closed doors and setbacks, but remember, God is always with you, even in the tough times. We know it's hard to keep going when you're feeling exhausted and disheartened, but we want to remind you of something Paul wrote to the church in Philippians: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (4:13).

We see your determination to keep seeking opportunities, and that's commendable. But we also want to encourage you to rest in God's timing. Sometimes, it's not about us pushing harder, but about trusting that God is working things out in His perfect time.

We've been praying for you, asking God to renew your strength, to give you hope, and to guide your steps. We're also asking Him to provide for your needs, both physically and spiritually. And we're trusting that, even when it's hard to see, God is at work in your life.

Keep holding on, friend. Keep trusting. Keep seeking. God sees you, and He's got a plan for you. As it says in Jeremiah, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (29:11). Let's claim that promise together.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
