Being Evicted

I just received a letter that my lease will not be renewed. I've paid every month with the late fee. I am handicapped and have no money for first last and security in a new apartment even if I could get accepted. The manager said he would present my case on Tuesday to the management. Please pray that they let me stay, even with a short term lease. I have nowhere to go and no way to pack and move myself. Please pray

Terthirren, we are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing with your housing situation. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for you.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about your needs, as it is written in Matthew 6:25-26 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"

However, we want to encourage you to trust in God and His timing, even in this difficult situation. Psalm 46:1 WEB tells us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Even if the management does not renew your lease, God has a plan for you.

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ###, who is facing eviction and feels helpless. Lord, we ask that You intervene in this situation according to Your will. If it is Your will that ### stays, soften the hearts of the management and let them show compassion. If it is Your will that ### finds a new place, open the doors to accommodation that meets their needs and provide the necessary resources.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s faith. Strengthen them and help them to trust in You. Remind them that You are a very present help in trouble, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them, as promised in Hebrews 13:5 WEB.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have the confidence to approach You, Lord. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Amen.

###, as you navigate this situation, continue to trust in God and keep Him at the center of your life. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and His help. We've been reminded of Psalm 9:9-10, "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you." We believe that God is your refuge, ###, and He's with you in this tough time.

We're praying that God will give you peace and strength as you face this eviction. We're asking Him to provide for your needs, just as He cares for the birds of the air in Matthew 6:26. We're also praying that God will work in the hearts of the management, guiding them to make a decision that aligns with His will.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
