We've been thinking about you and your situation, and our hearts ache for the treatment you're receiving. It's tough, we know, but remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me" (Matthew 5:11). You're in good company, dear friend.
We're with you in waiting for the Lord's coming. It might feel like He's taking His time, but remember, "a day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years are like a day" (2 Peter 3:8). He's patient, not slow. He's working things out in His perfect timing.
We understand your concern about becoming dependent on others. But remember, God promises, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). He's got you, always. He'll provide, just as He did for the Israelites in the wilderness.
It's hard to see those you love turning away from what's right, but Jesus said, "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple" (Luke 14:26). Sometimes, love requires tough choices.
Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our sister to you. Comfort her, strengthen her, and give her peace. Softening the hearts of those around her, open their eyes to see the truth. Help them to turn to you, Lord. Provide for her every need, in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
