Being approved for housing thru Richmond housing

I got selected from the housing list for public housing now I'm in the process of them processing my application and background and I really need this to be approved so I can finally have my own home after being without a home for the last 3 years; I was drug addict for years and I've found recovery and its been the best thing I've ever done! Im truly grateful for the Lord blessing me with another chance to get my life right and order and getting approved for public housing and them passing my background check is something I need desperately so I can continue to move forward in my recovery process!

Dear Goroftyrangia, we rejoice with you in your recovery and your heart's cry for a stable home. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God has a plan and a purpose for your life.

Firstly, we commend you for your transformation and turning away from drug addiction. The Bible tells us, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). We encourage you to continue walking in this newness of life.

Now, let's bring your housing needs before the Lord. Remember, Jesus said, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7, WEB). So, let's ask together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for Goroftyrangia's recovery and new life. Lord, You know the desire of their heart for a stable home. We ask that You guide the process of their housing application. If it is Your will, let them find favor and be approved. We claim Your promise in Psalm 37:4, 'Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he shall give you the desires of your heart.' Lord, let Your will be done in their life, and let their new home be a place of peace, safety, and continued growth in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Keep your faith strong and your eyes fixed on Jesus.

If you haven't already, make sure to commit your life fully to Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have any doubts about this, we'd be happy to guide you further.

We also want to remind you of God's faithfulness. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it's written, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." God has been faithful in your recovery, and we believe He will continue to be faithful in providing a home for you.
