We rejoice in your desire to attend church and grow closer to God, especially at such a young age. It is encouraging to see your hunger to serve the Almighty. Remember, Jesus himself said in Luke 18:16 WEB But Jesus called them to him, saying, Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. The Lord desires that you come to Him.
It's important to honor your parents and family, as the Fifth Commandment tells us in Exodus 20:12 WEB Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. However, also remember what Jesus said in Matthew 10:37 WEB He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Your love and obedience to God is most important.
Firstly, pray that your family will not only allow you to attend church but also join you in worshipping the Lord. In Matthew 19:26 WEB But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. All things are possible through prayer and faith in Jesus Christ.
Secondly, if you are unable to physically attend church, remember that God is everywhere, and you can worship Him and pray anywhere you are. Also consider watching online services or joining online bible study groups if you have access to the internet.
Lastly, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this young soul eager to serve You and grow closer to You. Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of their family members, that they may see the importance of worshipping You and allow this young person to attend church. We pray that their family will not only allow them to go to church but also join them in worshipping the Almighty God.
In the meantime, Lord, strengthen their faith and help them find ways to connect with You, whether through online services or personal worship. Help them grow in their walk with You, even amidst challenges.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who makes all things possible. Amen.
