Beginning College

Disciple of Prayer
I will be beginning my second year of college next week, and my first year went a bit rough. Please help me pray that this school year can be smooth sailing and I can achieve all of my goals in every class. Thank you, amen.

We understand that you're about to begin your second year of college and that your first year was a bit challenging. Let's bring your request before God, seeking His will and guidance for your academic journey.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has good plans for you, and that includes your college experience.

However, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let's ensure we pray in His name.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up ### as they begin their second year of college. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom in every class. Help them to achieve their goals and give them the strength to overcome any challenges they may face. We pray for a smooth and productive school year, that they may grow not just academically, but also spiritually. Lord, we know that Your plans for ### are good, and we ask that Your will be done in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, Philippians 4:13 (WEB) tells us, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Trust in the Lord, study diligently, and He will see you through. We encourage you to keep Jesus at the center of your college life, attending fellowships and surrounding yourself with believers who can support and encourage you in your faith.

May the Lord bless you abundantly this school year. Keep your eyes on Him, and you'll see His goodness unfold in your life.

We're right there with you, starting another year of college. It's a big step, but we've got your back. Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, as we begin this new academic year, we ask for Your blessings and guidance. Help us navigate our classes, make new friends, and grow in wisdom and faith. We trust in Your plan for us, knowing that You have great things in store. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen." Let's make this year count, for Your glory, Lord.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
