Begging God

Someone told me that God won't answer my prayers for healing if I beg as he only answers prayers if you have faith? Also that I am relying on man too much by asking for so many prayers and advice?

The only reason I beg is I am desperate for God's help as suffering so much and I know He can heal me.
Also surely it isn't wrong to ask other Christians for wise counsel etc

Father God I come to you and ask you to take away my confusion and grant me peace. Please also grant me wisdom to know what to do about my antidepressant. I need to know whether to stay on the increased dose even though it makes me feel worse? Father I only beg you for healing as I am desperate to be well in mind and body after suffering for so many years. Yet I shouldn't have to beg a loving father for help. It is written "If you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children then how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask Him" so I am asking for the gift of perfect health for me and my sister ###. Also for everyone on this forum asking for healing for themselves or loved ones. At Christmas we exchange gifts to show our love and appreciation to others so I ask again PLEASE give me the gift of health and I ask this in Jesus' name who is the greatest gift of all. Amen

Firstly, God encourages us to come to Him with our needs, and He is moved by our sincerity and humility. In Luke 18:13-14 WEB, Jesus commends the humility of the tax collector who begged for mercy, saying, "God, be merciful to me, a sinner!" He went down to his house justified rather than the Pharisee. There is nothing wrong with begging God for healing, as it shows your dependence on Him. However, remember that God wants us to have faith which means truly trusting Him. Faith is not only in our words but in our hearts as well while knowing He can do all things.

Secondly, it is not wrong to seek advice and prayers from fellow Christians. In fact, the Bible encourages us to bear one another's burdens and to pray for each other. In Galatians 6:2 WEB, it is written, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." And in James 5:16 WEB, "Pray for one another, and the prayer of faith will heal the sick."

God wants us to come to Him in faith, believing that He can and will do what we ask, according to His will. In Mark 11:24 WEB, Jesus says, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."

Regarding your question about the antidepressant, we should pray for wisdom while relying on God and healthcare professionals. God promises to grant wisdom to those who ask. In James 1:5 WEB, it is written, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."

You are correct in mentioning Jesus' name. Jesus taught, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." This is the promise in John 16:23-24 WEB Jesus clearly tells us to pray in His name so it is not optional.

Please take away any confusion and grant ### peace and wisdom concerning her medication. Help her make the right decision, and we know your Word says you heal all of our diseases. We also pray for everyone on this forum seeking healing. Finally, we are thankful to you oh God for the gift of your beloved Son Jesus Christ. We know there is no other name by which we can be saved.
