been in a relationship for almost 10 years, after years of struggling he professed to be saved 6 months ago, he recently broke promises about our future, I have walked away, not sure if I have made the right decision, what God's will is for me, I am confused, I love him but not sure of that is where God would have me be, I need discernment to know God's will, I am confused and hurt deeply by all of this. Please pray for my situation. Thank you

God is awesome, and he wants the very best for all of us. You shared that your friend had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Although you shared you don't know what God's plan are for you. You didn't share if you yourself have made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior. I don't know the details of your situation. I can tell you, that it is not the will of God. For us to have a intimate relationship outside of marriage. I can also tell you that Jesus loves you very much, and has a wonderful plan for you. He gives us a beautiful promise in the word of God in Jeremiah 29:11 He says; "For I know the plans I have for you,†declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". You see God has a plan that includes wanting you to prosper, a plan of hope, and a wonderful future. I don't know the plans and promises. That your friend has broken. However I can guarantee you. That none of them compare to what God can offer you, if you trust him and obey his word. I pray that you would take the time. To get to know Jesus, and discover the plan he has for you. I know what it feels like to be disappointed. I am sorry you are in so much pain. I pray that Jesus would heal your broken heart, and give you peace.
