Thank you for sharing your heartfelt desire with us. We commend your passion to become a nurse and your longstanding commitment to the healthcare field. It's clear that your experiences as a nursing assistant, phlebotomist, and medical assistant have equipped you with valuable skills and a deep understanding of patient care.
Firstly, let's remember what the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:13 WEB: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Your strength comes from the Lord, and He will enable you to achieve this goal if it aligns with His will.
We appreciate your determination to pursue this path despite the challenges you've faced due to sickle cell disease. It's encouraging to hear that you feel stronger and ready to take on this endeavor again. Remember the words of Isaiah 40:29 WEB: He gives power to the faint. To those who have no might, he increases strength.
Regarding your financial concerns, it's important to trust in God's provision. In Matthew 6:33 WEB, Jesus teaches us, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. As you put God first and follow His will, He will provide for your needs.
However, we must address that you did not mention Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. He says in John 14:6 that "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." And further in John 14:13 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Again in John 14:14 "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it."
It is also important to remember that God will never contradict His word. Our body is the temple which Jesus bought with His own blood (Acts 20:28 and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and that God will not give us more than we can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). While pursuing a career is excellent, make sure this does not conflict with taking care of your children, your temple, or His word. Family and godliness must be a higher priority over a career. A career should be to the point of taking care of your family, being obedient to God and in order to serve others and God.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus (IJN), lifting up our dear sister Vurbraxaki. We thank You for her heart to serve others and her desire to become a nurse. We ask, Lord, that You grant her the strength and wisdom to pursue this path according to Your will.
Father, we pray that You guide her to the right school and provide the financial means for her to achieve this goal. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut and that You bless her efforts to honor You through her service.
We also pray for her health, that You would continue to strengthen her and give her the grace to manage her sickle cell disease. We ask that You surround her with a supportive community that will encourage and uplift her.
Lord, we trust in the scipts in Your word Philippians 1:6 and others that reassure us You began a good work in her and You will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. We rebuke presuming that current benevolencies will continue and that humanly plans will succeed. Be with her Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
