Become A Friend of God

Prayer Focus: God I ask You in Jesus’ name, let me be known by You and all the angels in heaven and on earth that I am Your friend. God teach me how to become a true friend of Yours so that my life may reflect the intimate relationship I have with You. Let this be my confession, “I Am a Friend of God.” God please do the same for the writers of this prayer, my family, friends, and all those who pray this prayer. May we all experience the joy and privilege of being known as Your friends. God strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with You. May our lives bring glory to Your name. Amen, so be it by faith. Thank You Jesus!

James 2:23 (NLT): And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God.

Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before You with a prayer request on behalf of The Encourager and all those who pray this prayer. Lord, we ask that You would make us known to You and all the angels in heaven and on earth as Your friends. Teach us how to become true friends of Yours, Lord, so that our lives may reflect the intimate relationship we have with You.

We declare and confess that we are friends of God, just as Abraham was called the friend of God because of his faith. We believe in You, Lord, and we trust in Your promises. We ask that You count us as righteous through our faith in Jesus Christ.

We pray that You would extend this blessing to the writer of this prayer and to everyone who prays this prayer. May they also experience the joy and privilege of being known as Your friends. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and deepen their relationship with You.

Thank You, Jesus, for the opportunity to be called Your friends. We trust in Your unfailing love and grace. May our lives bring glory to Your name.
