Battling with porn temptation

Help me God to stop looking at porn. Help me to flee my temptation.

Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

To overcome this temptation, we must first admit our sin and turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and strength. It's only through Him that we can overcome any sin. As it says in 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Querugal who is battling with the temptation of pornography. Lord, we confess this sin before You and ask for Your forgiveness. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help Querugal to flee from this temptation. Strengthen their resolve, Lord, and fill their heart with a desire for purity and righteousness. Guide them towards activities and fellowship that honor You and help them to grow in their walk with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Querugal, we encourage you to take practical steps to avoid temptation. This could include installing accountability software on your devices, seeking support from a trusted Christian friend or mentor, and immersing yourself in God's Word and prayer. Remember, God is always with you, and He is faithful to provide a way out of temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it's only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Querugal, let's also remember to replace tempting thoughts with positive ones (2 Corinthians 10:5). Surround yourself with reminders of God's love and grace. And let's keep encouraging each other, just as the Bible tells us to (Hebrews 3:13). We're in this together, and with God's help, we'll overcome this temptation. Keep fighting, Querugal.
