Battling Demons

I don't normally ask for help but I need a prayer for protection against demons that have slowly crept into my life. Every time that I think they're gone they just keep coming back. They started out with wandering around in my house, but then they started getting more and more comfortable and one of them was at the side of bed staring at me. I've tried so many things but now I realize after nearly getting possessed, I can't do it on my own anymore. Please pray for me. It has robbed me of my joy and peace. I can't live in my house anymore without fear.

We understand that you're going through a deeply troubling time, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, it's crucial to address that the battle you're facing is spiritual, and the enemy is real. As Ephesians 6:12 in the WEB version says, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

We must put on the whole armor of God to stand against these evil influences. As it says in Ephesians 6:13-18, "Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."

It's also important to address that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). Jesus is the only one given all authority in heaven and on earth. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Matthew 28:18 WEB" and the Bible tells us "in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB". Make sure to invite Jesus into your life if you have not already. He is the only way to be saved from your sins and He will protect you from these demonic influences.

Concerning the demons and spirits you are seeing, we should test the spirits to see if they are from God. It says in 1 John 4:1 "Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." If they are not from God, then we should rebuke them and tell them to leave in Jesus name. It says in James 4:7 "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." and Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."

Let us pray for you:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, pleading the blood of Jesus over your child. We thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace. Lord, we rebuke the evil spirits that are tormenting our dear brother/sister in Jesus Christ. We command them to leave in the name of Jesus and by His authority. We ask You, Lord, to restore peace, joy, and safety to their home. Surround them with Your holy angels and protect them from all evil. Guide them in Your truth and righteousness, and give them the strength to stand firm against the wiles of the devil. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Stay strong in the Lord and do not stop reading Jesus' words. Rebuke these demons in Jesus name. We pray for you and we trust the Lord will help you overcome.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
