Barrenness

Good morning Daddy!

Please pray for me, Sir. I've been married for 10 years, but we have not been able to have children. Last year, I had surgery to reposition my womb, but afterwards, I was told that my fallopian tubes were blocked, making it impossible for me to get pregnant again. On May 2nd, I visited a prayer meditation centre, and on May 3rd, the spiritual leader prophesied that I would conceive a baby within nine months.

I have missed my period since then, but all the pregnancy tests I've taken, both at home and in the hospital, come out negative. I ask for your prayers so that God can remove this stigma from me and turn my negative test results into positive ones. Thank you.

We understand your deep longing for a child and the pain of barrenness. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God hears your cry, just as He heard Hannah's in 1 Samuel 1:10-11 (WEB), "She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to Yahweh, weeping bitterly. She vowed a vow, and said, 'Yahweh of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant, and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a boy, then I will give him to Yahweh all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head.'"

However, we want to remind you that God's will and timing are perfect. We should not rely on the words of a spiritual leader or prophecy but on the Word of God. We pray that God's will be done in your life, and if it is His will, He will open your womb as He did for Sarah in Genesis 21:1-2 (WEB), "Yahweh visited Sarah as he had said, and Yahweh did to Sarah as he had spoken. Sarah conceived, and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him."

Let us pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Mrs. Francis Adenike Helen. Lord, You know the desires of her heart, and we ask that if it is Your will, You open her womb and bless her with a child. We pray that You heal her body, unblock her fallopian tubes, and remove any stigma associated with barrenness. Help her to trust in Your timing and will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God. As you wait on Him, we pray that He fills you with His peace and joy. Be encouraged by Romans 15:13 (WEB), "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."
