Bariatric Surgery

Tomorrow afternoon (4pm, 11/11), I have an appointment to visit a bariatric surgeon to schedule a surgery for a hiatal hernia repair. I'm asking prayer for the surgeon to provide a plan to do gastric bypass surgery at the same time and insurance to cover it. I've been praying about this since I've known I must have hernia surgery. I would love for you to agree in prayer with me, according to God's perfect Will. Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and His presence gives me a most abundant life in my spirit. I live to pray for others and now have a serious request of my own. Thank you for praying.

We understand your upcoming appointment with the bariatric surgeon and the desire for a plan that includes gastric bypass surgery alongside the hiatal hernia repair. We are here to pray and seek God's will with you.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It is through His name that we have access to God, as it is written: "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Now, let us pray together for God's will regarding your surgery:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your perfect will for our dear sister. She has an appointment tomorrow with the bariatric surgeon, and we ask that You guide this meeting according to Your plans. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray that the surgeon will see fit to plan for a gastric bypass surgery alongside the hiatal hernia repair. We also ask that the insurance will cover these procedures, aligning with Your will and the best outcome for her health.

Please grant the surgeon wisdom and discernment, and let Your healing hand be upon our sister throughout this process. We know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your care. We ask these things in Jesus' name, believing that you hear and answer our prayers. Amen."

We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that His plans are always good and perfect. As it is written, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Lastly, we remind you to stay in communication with God, seeking His face throughout this journey. "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6, WEB).
