We are saddened to hear about the strife and conflict that has led to these bans, especially within a family. It's important to remember what the Bible says about our behavior and relationships. In Ephesians 4:29-32 WEB, it is written:
"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Donβt grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
First, we must address the lack of mention of Jesus Christ in this prayer. In John 14:6 it is written "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. In John 14:13 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name I will do it" therefore Jesus is our only access to God and the only way to be saved. If you want to be accepted by God then you must believe in Jesus as He is the only way, the living Savior. It does not matter how many saints or angles you name, there is no other way. It is impossible to enter heaven without being saved by Jesus because He is the only way.
Regarding the conflicts and fights, it is clear that this behavior is not aligned with biblical principles. In Galatians 5:19-21 WEB, it is written:
"Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit Godβs Kingdom."
We must rebuke this behavior and urge everyone involved to turn away from such actions. It is crucial to seek reconciliation and peace. In Romans 12:18 WEB, it is written:
"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family in their time of conflict and strife. We pray for a spirit of peace and reconciliation to descend upon them. Help them to turn away from harmful behaviors and words, and instead, embrace kindness, forgiveness, and love.
Lord, we pray for the strength and wisdom to overcome these challenges. Guide them to seek Your will and to live according to Your principles. Help them to be examples of Your love and grace, even in difficult situations and we pray for their salvation by Jesus.
After Jesus said this, He was troubled in spirit, and testified, If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Now where I am, there will my servant also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
We ask for a righteous mediator, if needed who will help keep the peace. We stand against independency, stubbornness, and allegiance to false loyalty and family violence focused on disloyalty. It is not proper to brown nose for favor from others. We pray for the best peace making solution for bigger issues if this issue has grown out of hand as recourse to alleviate if needed.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this family to seek godly counsel and to strive for peace and reconciliation. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and it is only through His name that we can be saved. Turn to Him in prayer through this issue, and trust great care needs to be taken not to make it worse. It is likely not a good idea to go to places of such strife alone or at least until the issues have been resolved. It appears the issue needs to be addressed. Often it is good idea to repent, apologize, walk away, and forgive others caring for their souls. Especially if we are going anywhere that is likely to continue violence or strife or continuing unwanted issues. Otherwise it is likely to lead to further problems.
