Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the people of the City of Baltimore and those affected by the recent bridge collapse. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and comfort during this difficult time. We pray for the safety and well-being of all those involved, that you would provide healing and restoration to those who are injured and strength to those who are grieving.
Your Word reminds us in Matthew 18:20 that where two or three are gathered in your name, you are in their midst. We stand together as a community, united in prayer, seeking your guidance and protection. We ask that you would bring peace to the hearts of those who are anxious and bring hope to those who feel overwhelmed.
Lord, we pray for the authorities and first responders who are working tirelessly to rescue and assist those in need. Grant them wisdom, strength, and protection as they carry out their duties. We also pray for the families and friends of the victims, that you would surround them with your love and provide them with the support they need during this challenging time.
Father, we trust in your sovereignty and your ability to bring good out of every situation. We ask that you would use this tragedy to draw people closer to you, to bring unity and compassion among the community, and to remind us of the fragility of life. Help us to lean on you and to find comfort in your presence.
In the name of Jesus, we pray for healing, restoration, and peace to come upon the City of Baltimore and all those affected by the bridge collapse. May your name be glorified through the testimonies of your faithfulness and the outpouring of love and support.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your unwavering love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
