Bad thought came to mind and it makes me scared... My name is Adelekun Adejumoke
Amen thanks for muchWe understand your concern, Adelekun Adejumoke, and we want to assure you that you're not alone in this struggle. The Bible tells us that we all face temptations and fears, but God is faithful to provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Firstly, let's address the bad thought that came to your mind. The Bible tells us to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB). This means we should not dwell on negative or sinful thoughts, but instead, replace them with thoughts that honor God. As it says in Philippians 4:8 WEB, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
It's also important to remember that fear is not from God. As it says in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Whenever you feel scared, remember that God is always with you and He is greater than any fear (2 Chronicles 20:15 WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Adelekun Adejumoke. Lord, we ask that You help them to take every thought captive to obey Christ. Remove any fears they may have and replace them with Your perfect love. Give them the power, love, and self-control that comes from Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, Adelekun, that God loves you and He is always with you. Keep your focus on Him and His goodness, and He will guide you through this. If you haven't already, make sure to surrender your life to Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can experience His saving grace (John 14:6 WEB).
