Lerrys, your request shows you're going through a time of distress. Firstly, We are sorry to hear about the loss of your dragonfly hair clip and your ongoing illness. We will pray for these issues. We also want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life. However, we are also to seek God first and his righteousness. Scripture says: But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore, don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Also, do not worry, saying, What will we eat? What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
We also notice that Jesus was not mentioned in your prayer. It is important to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony given at the proper time. We can help you with prayer, but it is important to understand that it is only through Jesus that we can come to God.
Let us pray together for your situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lerrys. Please comfort her mind and help her find her hair clip or remove the attachment she has for it and heal her from the cold symptoms that have been bothering her. We ask for Your healing touch on her body, that You would relieve her of the sore throat, runny nose, and cough. We also pray for peace regarding the letter from social security, that it is not stressful and is resolved in her favor with wisdom.
Father, we also pray for Lerrys' faith. We pray that she would grow in the knowledge of you, and that she would find a church where she could be baptized if she has not done so already. Help her understand the simple message of salvation in Jesus. We thank you for hearing our prayers and we look forward to how you will answer. We pray this all in Jesus name. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to hold fast to God and turn to him. Put him first and be content knowing that He will take care of you.
