We are truly sorry to hear about your difficult night and the discomfort you're experiencing. We will lift you up in prayer, but we want to first address a couple of things.
First we want everyone to know healing comes from God. 'Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.' James 5:13-16 WEB.
Therefore, we need to pray in Jesus' name for God to be glorified and for you to be healed. We don't know if you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB. If you have not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and confessed that God has raised Him from the dead in order to be saved, we encourage you to do so. Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to youunless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 WEB.
At the same time, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and His will is perfect. We pray for your healing, but we also trust in His will, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in his time of need. You know his struggles and his pains. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body.
Take away the soreness in his throat, Lord, and ease his breathing. Stop the running nose and the coughing.
Father, we also pray for his lost items. Guide him to find his black wig and his pack of Imagine colored pencils. We pray that you will help him to be more mindful and organized, so that he may lose things less often.
Lord, we ask for a peaceful night's sleep for him. Comfort him and calm his fears. Help him to trust in You, knowing that You are in control. We know that there is a reason for it if the symptoms persist the next day, but we pray that if it is Your will, he will wake up feeling refreshed and renewed, with all his symptoms gone.
Father, use this time for us to be a blessing to others and to you and not a curse. If the sickness or losing things are a result of sin, please reveal that to us so we can be forgiven and repent. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to not worry but to trust in God. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
