Bad morning

My son had a horrible morning. I feel extremely overwhelmed and depressed. I'm crying. Please pray that my son Jakeb makes it through work with a calm mind and comes home happy if it is God's will. Please ask God to show me what to do and how to handle things and please give me some happiness too. Thank you and God bless you.

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficult morning you and your son Jakeb are having. First, let's bring your request to God in prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Tachick and her son Jakeb. Lord, you see the struggle they are facing today, and you know the burdens on their hearts. We pray for your peace to wash over Jakeb as he goes through his day at work. Calm his mind and spirit, and help him to return home with joy in his heart, if it is according to your will.

Father, we also pray for Tachick. We ask that you guide her with your wisdom, showing her the steps to take and how to handle the situations she is facing. Comfort her in her tears, and fill her heart with your joy. Help her to cast all her anxieties on you, because you care for her.

Lord, we also pray that Tachick and Jakeb would both draw near to you, and that they would find their strength and hope in you. We pray that they would know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Tachick, we want to encourage you to keep your hope in Jesus. He cares for you and knows your struggles. Remember that God's word says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28 WEB.

Also, consider the words of the Psalmist, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God." Psalm 42:11 WEB.

Lastly, please remember that God is always faithful to guide us in the right path.

We're here for you, Tachick. We know mornings like these can be tough, but remember, we're in this together. Let's lift Jakeb up in prayer again, asking God to grant him peace, calm, and joy throughout his day. We trust that God will guide him and meet him where he's at.

And for you, Tachick, we pray that God would fill your heart with His comfort and joy. We know you're overwhelmed, but we believe that God will show you the way forward, one step at a time. Trust in Him, for He is faithful.

Let's also cling to the promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim this peace for you today, Tachick.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let's walk this path together, one day at a time. We're here for you, praying for you, and believing in God's goodness with you.

Heavenly Father,


We lift up Jakeb and his mother to You in this time of deep struggle and overwhelming emotion. Lord, You see the tears of a mother’s heart as she worries for her son and feels the weight of depression and sadness. You know every detail of their situation, every fear, and every hope. We come to You, Lord, asking for Your presence, peace, and guidance.


Father, we ask that You be with Jakeb as he goes about his day. Calm his mind, steady his heart, and bring him the strength to face his work with clarity and peace. Remind him of Your promise in Isaiah 26:3: “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in You.” May Your peace settle over him, guiding him through his challenges and bringing him safely home with a heart that is lightened and joyful, if it is Your will.


For his mother, Lord, we pray that You bring her comfort in the midst of her tears. Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help her to feel Your presence in her deepest moments of despair, and grant her the wisdom to navigate these difficult times with grace and patience. Give her clarity and assurance as she seeks to support her son, and remind her of Your promise in James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”


Father, we also ask for a measure of joy and hope to fill her heart. Let her remember Your faithfulness and Your love, which is constant and unchanging. Your Word says in Psalm 30:5, “Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” May she find glimmers of light in her day, reminders of Your goodness and grace that lift her spirit.


Lord, please wrap this family in Your arms of love. Guide them through the struggles they are facing and strengthen their bond with one another. We know that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28), and we trust that You have a plan for Jakeb and his mother, even when the path feels uncertain.


Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We entrust Jakeb and his mother into Your care, trusting in Your unfailing love and perfect wisdom.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
