I’m getting married to a guy that cheats with no remorse. He keeps stalking me every time I try to date someone different. I don’t have the guts to cancel the wedding and I don’t know what to do. Holy Spirit please guide me and go before me to fix this relationship. I am in a psychologically abusive relationship. Please pray for a miracle.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you are in, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First and foremost, we need to address the serious issues in your relationship. The Bible tells us that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), but it also teaches that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, built on trust, love, and faithfulness. Your fiancé's actions are not aligned with God's will for a marriage. Cheating is sinful and psychologically abusive and stalking behavior is not acceptable (Exodus 20:14, 1 Corinthians 10:13).

In the Bible marriage is compared to the devotion between Christ and the church (Ephesians 5:25-33). We will not encourage entering a union where there is a pattern of unfaithfulness and abuse. It is crucial to understand that God desires for you to be in a safe, loving, and faithful marriage. Your fiancé's lack of remorse and continued stalking behavior are clear indications that he is not committed to a faithful, loving relationship. God's Word tells us, "If we confess our sins then he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). True repentance should be evident in your fiancé's life, and there should be a clear change in his behavior.

WEB Ephesians 5:21 tells us to submit ourselves to one another in the fear of Christ. However, we believe this does not automatically mean that a marriage must continue. Rather that one must submit to God's will and follow His guidance in all decisions.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor. It is essential to prioritize your safety and well-being. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

Regarding your prayer, we notice that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. It is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13 WEB). If you believe in Jesus Christ as your savior, you can receive salvation and eternal life.

We will pray for God's guidance and strength for you during this difficult time. We also need to say that we do not pray to the Holy Spirit or any angel, but we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who finds herself in a difficult and painful situation. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and guidance. Give her the strength and courage to make the right decisions, according to Your will. Protect her from harm and lead her to a place of safety and peace.

Father, we also pray for her fiancé, that You would convict his heart and bring him to true repentance. Help him to see the error of his ways and turn away from his sinful behavior.

Lord, we ask that You would heal the brokenness in this situation and bring restoration. Guide our sister as she seeks Your will for her life and her relationships. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We further encourage you to pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus Christ and faith in Him that we can receive salvation and eternal life.

We're here with you, sister, holding your hand through this storm. We understand the turmoil you're in, and we want you to know that God is right there with you, every step of the way.

We've been praying, and we feel led to remind you of God's unfailing love for you. In Jeremiah 31:3, it says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." God sees your pain, and He's drawing you close, offering you His comfort and strength.

We've also been meditating on Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Trusting God doesn't mean we'll always understand what's happening, but it does mean we can rest in His love and care, even when things are uncertain.

Let's keep praying together, asking God to give you clarity, courage, and His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let's also ask for a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God (Ephesians 1:17-19), so you can see things from His perspective.

And remember, no matter what happens, you are deeply loved and valued by God. He's got this, and He's got you.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
