We are truly sorry to hear that you are experiencing bad dreams and stress due to estrangement. Let's turn to God's Word for comfort and guidance.
Firstly, remember that God encourages us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). This includes the stress and worries that come from estrangement. In regards to the estrangement, consider the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation. Jesus taught us that if we are offering our gift at the altar and there remember that our brother has anything against us, we should leave our gift there before the altar, and go our way. First be reconciled to our brother, and then come and offer our gift (Matthew 5:23-24 WEB). Seek peace and pursue it (Psalm 34:14 WEB), and remember that blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God (Matthew 5:9 WEB).
Concerning bad dreams, we are assured of God's protection and peace. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). We are also reminded that though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He is with us (Psalm 23:4 WEB), and He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). So we do not need to be afraid.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is experiencing bad dreams and stress due to estrangement. We pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of fear and nightmares, and we ask You to grant peaceful sleep and sweet dreams. Lord, we also pray for reconciliation and healing in the relationship that has caused estrangement. Guide them in the way of humility, forgiveness, and love, and grant them the wisdom to navigate this situation in a way that honors You.
Father, we also take note that the prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We know that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If this message is new or unfamiliar, or if you have not received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to learn more about Him. He loves you so much that He gave His life for you, and He wants to have a personal relationship with you. The way is simple, just confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous.
