We understand your struggle with congestion, colds, and fatigue, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. Let us first turn to God's Word:
"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:13-15 WEB)
We pray, heavenly Father, for our dear brother or sister who is afflicted with illness and fatigue. We ask for Your healing touch, that You would relieve them of their congestion, clear their throat, and restore their energy and strength. Lord, they have important calls to make and appointments to keep, so we ask that You would enable them to speak clearly and carry out their duties with vigor.
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace, as it is written:
"In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)
So we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, believing that He is the one and only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). We ask for your healing, strength, and restoration, and we also pray that you would know Jesus Christ personally and grow in His grace.
Lastly, we encourage you to meditate on God's promises and to continue in prayer, as the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16). Trust in the Lord, and He will renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31). Amen.
