We are sorry to hear about your bad cold and that you are having trouble sleeping due to persistent coughing. We are also concerned about your friend's dog, Mila, being sick.
Firstly, we want to remind you that our help comes from the Lord. As it says in Psalm 121:2, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
We are plagued by illness because sin has corrupted the world, but we must keep in mind that Jesus suffered and died for us. Matthew 8:17 tells us, He took on "himself our weaknesses, and carried our diseases and the burden of our sins are carried away." This means that we must claim and declare the blood of Jesus Christ over our lives and over the lives of those we pray for.
"After saying these things, he said to them, A sick man, who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, was brought to him. He asked them to lay the sick man at his feet."
A praying group can help carry the burden of those who are ill, but they must agree on the authority of Jesus. The only way to agree in prayer is to pray together in Jesus name.
Let us pray together for you and Mila.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, seeking Your healing touch. We pray for Jillsaint, that You would ease their coughing and grant them peaceful sleep. We rebuke any sickness and illness in their body and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We also lift up Mila, the dog, and ask for Your healing and comfort upon her. Lord God Almighty it is only by the blood of Jesus Christ that we are able to come to you for help. Father thank you for sending us your son to give us this access, your word says:
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. And further the bible says " Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. " Acts 4:12 WEB
God the Almighty, right now we are claiming and declaring the blood of Jesus Christ over Jillsaint's life and the life of Mila their friend's dog. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As you go through this trial, we encourage you to trust unwaveringly in God.
While the answers to your prayers might not be instant they will come to pass, at the right time. Stand firm, view illness as means of serving our savior and a reason to call on the name, the only name that will save us: Jesus Christ.
