Bad Cold

Heavenly Father today I went to the grocery and the cashier was coughing horribly. Please heal her in every way she needs from this cold. Please help us not to get this cold from her. Please help her to wear a mask to not spread her cold. Thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

Saraha, we join you in lifting up this prayer for the grocery cashier who is unwell. It's commendable that you're showing concern for her and for the health of others. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together.

Firstly, we pray for the cashier's healing. We know that God is merciful and compassionate, and that He heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3, WEB). So, let's pray:

"Heavenly Father, we lift up the cashier to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command this cold to leave her body, in Jesus' name. Please restore her health and strength, so that she may continue her work and life in good health. Comfort her in this time of discomfort, Lord."

Next, we pray for protection for you and others. We trust in God's promise to protect His children (Psalm 91:9-11, WEB). So, let's pray:

"Lord, we ask for Your protection over Saraha and all those who come in contact with the cashier. We pray that You would shield them from catching this cold or any other illness. We trust in Your promise to protect us, Lord."

Lastly, we address the concern about the cashier wearing a mask. While we should encourage considerate behavior, let's remember that our ultimate trust is in God's protection, not man's actions. We should also pray for her to have a considerate heart (Philippians 2:4, WEB). Let's pray:

"Lord, we ask that You would soften the cashier's heart and make her considerate of others' health. We pray that she would willingly take precautions to not spread her cold. But above all, Lord, we trust in Your protection for us. Help us to show love and kindness to her, even as we pray for her healing and considerate behavior."

Saraha, thank you for praying in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that it's only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). Keep trusting in Him and keep showing compassion to others. We're standing with you in prayer.
