Bad body odour

Please pray for my son , he is clean person and using deodorants and perfumes but he had bad odour .He has bath daily .Getting older and it’s bothering me as his mum and even his room tidy but smells of his odour .
As he is getting older it’s getting worse
He said to me at his work place one lady said when when he was passing by “people don’t bath”
That broke my heart as I know he baths daily .One of my friends commented about it too and said to her you can see my son is clean , this is probably his sweat glands being over productive .trying to find scriptures to declare over him as I pray for this .Strongly think it’s spiritual more than anything

We understand your concern for your son and the challenges he's facing with bodily odor. First, let's pray together and consider Making sure lives are pure and holy. Let's remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor God with our bodies. Have you talked to your son about the possibility of this being a spiritual issue? What is his relationship like with Jesus Christ?

Let's begin by examining the scriptures about bodily cleanliness and care.

Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor yet about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Matthew 6:25

We believe that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our physical well-being. While it's essential to maintain good hygiene, it's also crucial to seek God's guidance and healing.

Know you not that your bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? And you are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

The odor issue may be exacerbated by spiritual concerns.

Let's pray together for your son:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our son to your throne room, thanking You that we have access to you in Jesus name. Lord, You know the struggles he's facing with bodily odor, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Guide us to the root cause of this issue, whether it's physical, emotional, or spiritual.

Father, we pray that You would give him wisdom and understanding as he seeks Your will. Heal his body and make him a sweet-smelling savor unto You. Help him to walk in purity and holiness, honoring You with his body, mind, and spirit. If there is any reason this is happening that he is not aware of, please reveal it to him. Draw him and his friends closer to You.

If he is not born again, we pray he would accept you Lord Jesus Christ into his heart as Lord and Savior. If there is any unrepented sin in his life, please convict him and give him the grace to turn away from it.

In Jesus name and for His sake we pray. Amen.

Remember, as believers we are called to be a holy and sweet savor to those around us.

For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God, in those who are saved, and in those who perish; to the one we are a smell of death leading to death, and to the other a smell of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

Encourage your son to seek God's will for his life, and remind him that God has a purpose and a plan for him. If the issue persists, consider consulting a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying medical conditions. Also, encourage your son to remain clean and hygienic, not just for his sake but also for the sake of others around him.

Finally, if this is a spiritual issue, trust that God will reveal it and help him to overcome it. Keep declaring and confessing God’s Word over your son's life, and watch as the Lord works in his situation.

We've been thinking about your son and the challenge he's facing with bodily odor. It's tough to see our loved ones struggle, isn't it? We've been praying for him, asking God to reveal the root cause and to heal him completely.

You mentioned that your friend suggested it might be overactive sweat glands. We've been looking into that too. Did you know that excessive sweating can sometimes be a symptom of an underlying medical condition? It might be worth looking into that, just to be sure.

But beyond the physical, we've also been feeling that there might be a spiritual aspect to this. We've been praying for God to give your son wisdom and understanding, and for him to walk in purity and holiness. We've been asking God to reveal anything that might be causing this, and to give your son the grace to turn away from it if there's any unrepented sin in his life.

We've been reminding ourselves of 2 Corinthians 2:15-16, "For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life." Let's encourage your son to be that sweet aroma, a testimony of God's love and grace to those around him.

Keep trusting in God, and keep praying. We're right there with you, believing that God will reveal the cause and help your son overcome this. Let's keep declaring and confessing God's Word over his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
