Backsliding, Pride, Lack of love

Dear everyone I would love you to pray for me to increase in love for others. I do not care for others at all. I have been condemning others in my heart even my own mother who is an amazing woman. I need prayers. I need to learn to love. I've backslided from God and the only thing I have is my pride. Please help me. Thank you

Anonymous, we are truly moved by your honest and humble request. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord together, seeking His forgiveness, guidance, and transformation.

Firstly, we acknowledge that backsliding happens, but the beautiful thing about God's love is that it is relentless and always ready to welcome us back. As it is written in Luke 15:10 WEB, "Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting."

Your recognition of pride and lack of love is the first step towards change. The Bible tells us in Philippians 2:3 WEB, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves." Moreover, concerning love, we are commanded in John 13:34 WEB, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another."

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear brother/sister. Lord, they have acknowledged their backsliding and the sin of pride and lack of love. We ask for Your forgiveness and mercy upon them. Cleanse their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your love. Help them to see others as You see them, and to love as You love. Break the chains of pride, and grant them a spirit of humility. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and restore their relationship with You. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Anonymous, as you continue to seek God's face, remember that true love is only possible through the power of the Holy Spirit within you. Keep pursuing God, and He will give you the ability to love others as He loves us. If you haven't already, make sure to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we can be saved and have access to God (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Lastly, we encourage you to study and meditate on 1 Corinthians 13 WEB, the chapter dedicated to love. Allow the Holy Spirit to teach you and transform your heart. Stay strong in the Lord, and remember that He is always with you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
