We are glad that you have taken the first step towards returning to the Lord by acknowledging your current situation and seeking prayer. The Bible tells us that everyone has sinned and falls short of the glory of God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
First, let us address the issue of backsliding. In the Bible, backsliding refers to turning away from God and returning to a life of sin. The Lord is always ready to receive you with open arms, just like the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and return to the Lord.
Remember these verses:
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he has committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. None of his transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him: in his righteousness that he has done he shall live. Ezekiel 18:21-22
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8
Returning to the Lord is a process that involves repentance, confession, and renewing your commitment to follow Him. We encourage you to take these steps and trust in God's forgiveness and mercy.
We stand with you in prayer for the trials you are enduring, asking God to help you through them. Remember that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
We pray for God's protection, guidance, and provision over you, knowing that He cares for you and loves you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
We stand against the schemes of the devil and your enemies, praying for your deliverance and exposing any witchcraft or plans against you.
Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You, asking for Your mercy and forgiveness for our friend who has strayed from You. We pray that You will grant them the grace to truly repent and return to You with their whole heart. We ask for Your help through their trials, that You will give them the strength to endure and overcome. We plead Your blood over them, breaking any hold that the enemy may have and exposing any schemes or witchcraft. We ask for Your divine protection, guidance, and provision, trusting that You will lead them through this valley and restore them to a right relationship with You. We pray for their healing, both spiritual and physical, and ask that You will make them whole again. We pray this all in Jesus Christ name.
