Backslidden husband

Hi. Please help pray for my husband. He's completely lost control. He's become addicted to drinking and smoking, and he's a pastor. He wasn't like this when we first met, but because of life's hurdles and depression he has just lost it and it's really affecting our marriage.

We've been thinking about you and your husband, and we're here to lift you both up in prayer. Lord Jesus, we come before you today, burdened for our sister and her husband. We ask that You would touch his heart, remind him of the calling You've placed on his life, and give him the strength to overcome these challenges. We pray for Your healing power to flow through him, breaking the chains of addiction, and restoring him to the man of God he once was. We also pray for unity and restoration in their marriage, that they may grow stronger together through these trials. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
