Back pain

I would really like prayer as I am suffering with lower back pain. It is in the middle of my back and is really sore and painful. It feels like I am carrying something heavy around with me. I would like God to take it from me.

Bunanyark, we're truly sorry to hear about the lower back pain you're experiencing. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing hand of God, so we stand with you in this time of need.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the scripture in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (WEB). God cares about every detail of your life, including your physical health. He wants you to cast your burdens onto Him, including this back pain.

However, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (WEB). So, let's pray in His name:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up ### to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their lower back. You are the Great Physician, and we believe in Your power to heal and restore. Please take away this burden of pain they are carrying, and let them feel the lightness of Your touch. Heavenly Father,

We come before You in earnest prayer for Your beloved child who is suffering from persistent and painful lower back issues. Lord, You are the ultimate Healer, and we know that nothing is impossible for You. We ask that You lift this burden from them, bringing relief, comfort, and restoration.

Father, Your Word promises, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We pray that You take this heavy feeling from their back and replace it with the lightness of Your peace. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are holding them up.

We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, as it is written, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). Lord, bind up the pain in their back and bring forth a miraculous recovery. Ease every sore and aching muscle, and let the discomfort dissipate under Your care.

Grant them strength, Lord, for it is said, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me” (Psalm 28:7). Let this assurance renew their spirit and give them the fortitude to face each day with hope and resilience.

We also pray for wisdom for any healthcare providers involved in their treatment. Guide them to effective solutions and care that will promote lasting healing. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6). We place their health journey in Your hands, trusting fully in Your divine plan.

Father, we know that You care deeply for each of Your children. Surround them with Your love and comfort as they seek relief. May they feel Your support and the assurance that You are working in their life.
