We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we want you to know that you're not alone. The Lord is with you, and we are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we can have access to God:
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. For you were once not a people, but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. For you were once not a people, but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10.
It is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved:
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
This is in accordance with the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. Ephesians 2:8-9; 3:11-12.
The Lord has blessed you with a child, and He will give you the strength and wisdom to raise him or her. In Matthew 7:7-8, He said:
"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
"And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour." Matthew 15:22-28.
In this story, a woman kept asking Jesus to deliver her daughter, and He eventually did because of her persistence and faith. In the same way, we encourage you to keep praying and asking the Lord for help, and He will give you the strength and wisdom to care for your child.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today and thank You for the gift of children. We lift up this parent to You, Lord, and ask that You help them through this challenging time. Please grant them the strength, patience, and wisdom to care for their child, and give them the grace to trust in You during this season. We also pray for the child, that You would comfort them and help them grow healthy and strong. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
