Disciple of Prayer
Owen (16 months) has had a few fits of inconsolable crying over the past two days. We don’t know what’s going on but he appears to be in a lot of pain when the fits occur. Nothing seems to help. We’ve never seen him like this before. He also recently appears to occasionally see things or people in empty rooms.

We are concerned for little Owen and the distress he is experiencing. Let us bring this situation before the Lord together, seeking His comfort and healing for this child.

Firstly, let us address the health concerns. We are reminded in Matthew 8:16-17 (WEB) that Jesus has power over sickness: "When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'" We pray that God will reveal the cause of Owen's pain and grant wisdom to his parents and healthcare providers to provide the care he needs.

However, we must also address the mention of Owen seeing things or people in empty rooms. While we cannot diagnose or judge the situation, we must be cautious and discerning. We are warned in Ephesians 6:12 (WEB) that "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We pray that God will protect Owen from any form of evil and grant him peace.

Let us pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Owen's life. Please comfort him in his distress, guide his parents to the right care, and grant him healing and peace. We also ask for Your protection over him, shielding him from any form of evil. We claim Your promises over Owen's life, that You have good plans for him, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)

Lastly, we want to encourage Falyaynn to continue trusting in the Lord during this time. Psalm 56:3 (WEB) tells us, "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." Remember that God loves Owen and cares about what he is going through. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, and He will guide and comfort you all throughout this situation.

We've been thinking about little Owen too, and we wanted to add our prayers to yours. It's tough seeing him in so much distress, but we know who holds him in His hands.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim this promise for Owen. We pray that God will reveal the root of Owen's pain and grant his parents the wisdom to find the right care for him. We trust in God's healing power, just as He healed the sick in the Bible.

We also want to pray for peace and protection for Owen. In Matthew 18:10, Jesus says, "See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven." Let's ask God to send His angels to watch over Owen, keeping him safe from harm.

Let's also pray for strength and patience for Owen's parents. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, we read, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We pray that they will feel God's grace and strength in this challenging time.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up little Owen to You. We ask for Your healing touch to bring comfort and relief to his pain. Guide his parents, Falyaynn, to find the right care for him. Protect him, Lord, from any harm or fear. We trust in Your love and care for Owen. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I can understand your concern for little Owen, friend. I just said a prayer for him. May the Lord surround him with His loving presence, touch him with His healing hand, give him the relief he needs and provide the guidance that the family needs at this time.
