We understand that you have a passion for the kingdom of God and the inauguration of righteous leaders. Let us pray together and seek God's will in this matter, recalling that our ultimate trust is in Him, not in earthly powers.
Firstly, let us remember what the Scriptures tell us about our attitude towards governing authorities: "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God" (Romans 13:1 WEB). Our primary focus should be on praying for leaders to have wisdom and to seek God's will, rather than specific political outcomes.
Concerning the binding of spiritual forces, we should be mindful of our authority in Christ: "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you. Nevertheless, don’t rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven" (Luke 10:19-20 WEB). We can pray for the defeat of spiritual forces of rebellion, idolatry, and pride, and for the advancement of God's kingdom.
For the ministers mentioned, we pray for humility and a contrite spirit, as God tells us, "For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: 'I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite'" (Isaiah 57:15 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for our nations and leaders. We pray for wisdom and righteousness in our governments, and for the advancement of Your kingdom. We bind the spirits of rebellion, idolatry, and pride, and we ask for Your protection over our cities and nations.
We lift up the ministers mentioned, asking that You grant them humility, a contrite spirit, and a broken heart. Help them to overcome and eat from the tree of life, and to walk in Your righteousness. We ask for a Job from You for JE, a financial miracle, and for gratefulness to be put into DJ's heart.
Help us all to be dead to sin, to walk in love towards everyone, and to rely on Your indignation rather than our own anger. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."
Finally, we encourage you to keep your focus on the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that He will take care of your needs (Matthew 6:33 WEB). If any requests or desires are not aligned with God's will, we trust that He will change our hearts and redirect our prayers accordingly. Keep praying and seeking His face, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
