Audition

Hello everyone, I would really appreciate for prayers. In the 28th of this month I have an audition at a theater. I’m not sure if I’m going to get the part, or any of the parts but I do pray that I will. I’m trying to break out into acting and I talked to a casting director who gave me some great advice and that most actors/actresses have started in theater and made a name for themselves in the future. So, I’m just praying that I do the audition and hopefully get a part, It’s a Dinner Theater themed, a mystery.

We understand your eager anticipation and desire to succeed in your upcoming audition, ###. Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our aspirations and passions. As it says in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

However, we want to gently remind you that the ultimate goal in all our pursuits should be to glorify God and spread His love. In Colossians 3:23, it is written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." This includes your acting endeavors.

Let's pray together for your audition:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###. We ask that You guide her steps as she prepares for this audition. Help her to perform to the best of her abilities, and may Your will be done in the outcome. If it is in Your plan for her to get a part, we pray that she will use this opportunity to shine Your light in the theater world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, regardless of the outcome, God has a plan and purpose for you. Trust in Him, and continue to pursue your passions with a heart focused on glorifying Him. We also encourage you to continue seeking God's guidance through prayer and reading His Word.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. We believe that it is through His name that we are saved and have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to keep this in mind in your prayers and daily life.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
