We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and under attack, JesusourLordandSavior. We understand it feels it is too much to bear. First, let's turn to the Word of God for some encouragement and guidance. In Psalm 34:17-19 we read "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all". James 4:7 continues “Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.
We are thankful to see that you ended your prayer "In Jesus precious name". This is so important. There is no other name given whereby we can be saved or forgiven. Acts 4:12 states “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” This valuable key unlocks our access to God! We are concerned about your mention of attacks. We need to determine the attack you are referring to. Is it you being overwhelmed or experiencing spiritual warfare? You may have experienced harsh or difficult treatment by coworkers, peers, or even friends or family. They may be direct attacks on your person or they might spread rumors, gossip, or talk harshly of you when you are not with them. You may even notice there are times when no matter what you choose to do that you end up with unexpected problems or situations. There is a spiritual source for these issues and it resides in the devil and the demonic spirits. They want to wreak havoc of the saint’s lives and discourage the saint from trusting in God for strength and the peace that exceeds all understanding. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. These attacks are spiritual. You must battle using spiritual weapons. Having done all to stand against the demonic spirits you must “Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness” Ephesians 6:10-18.
It's clear that you're feeling worn down and weary, but remember of John 16:33. Jesus told us these things so that in Him we might have peace. "In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world”.
Also, never forget the importance of Romans 8:26-28 "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. 27 He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, for he makes intercession for the saints according to God. 28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" We are commanded to pray for each other's needs in James 5:26. We are to confess our faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much, even if you think the problem relates to non-spiritual attacks.
Let's pray together:
