We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you are facing at your workplace. We are reminded in Matthew 5:11-12, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
Although it is difficult to face such adversity, remember that Jesus himself faced persecution and understands your plight. In 2 Chronicles 20:15, the Lord tells us, "Don’t be afraid or dismayed because of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s." This is a spiritual battle, and we must respond with prayer and faith.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing attacks and persecution at their workplace. Lord, You see the injustice and the lies that are being spread. We ask for Your divine intervention and protection.
Father, guide them to respond in love and kindness. Romans 12:14 says, "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse." In this difficult situation the test is to not return evil for evil but to overcome evil with good.
If they are not saved or do not have a relationship with Jesus, we pray that you draw them to Jesus Christ and that they can see your grace, mercy, and love. Romans 10:9-10 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
We pray for the salvation of their colleagues. Acts 9:1-19 tells the story of Saul who persecuted Christians but had a miraculous encounter with Jesus and became saved. We pray that the colleagues will have an encounter with Jesus and be saved.
We ask You to give peace and encouragement to our brother/sister, to strengthen them in their faith. We pray for a hedge of protection around them and their job. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirits of jealousy, lies, and deceit that are at work in their colleagues.
Father, turn this situation around for good, and use it to draw our brother/sister even closer to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Be strong and courageous. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust Him with this difficult situation. Keep praying for your enemies. If you do need to present the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to them, they are lost, and you are blessed with being able to share the Good News with the lost.
Thank you for submitting your prayer request with the name of Jesus Christ. Many requests do not mention Jesus by name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Call on the name of Jesus. Pray for your enemies in Jesus' name. God bless and we will continue to pray for you.
