We hear your cry, dear Iylani, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's comfort and guidance in your time of need.
Firstly, we are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Instead of focusing on the "why," indeed, draw closer to Him, for He is the source of your strength and peace.
We pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, You know Iylani's heart and the anxiety she faces regarding her job performance. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention, just as You have worked on her behalf before. Comfort her, Lord, and help her to be grateful for the extension granted. In Jesus' name, we claim Philippians 4:13 for her, 'I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.'"
Remember, Iylani, in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB), the Lord tells us, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." In your weariness, His strength is made perfect.
We also lift up Nina's health to the Lord. We pray, "Dear Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon Nina. Comfort her, Lord, as she goes through this time. May Your presence be her strength and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray."
Lastly, Iylani, we encourage you to continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Keep pressing into Him, and remember, it is in His name, Jesus, that we come to the Father. If you haven't already, open your heart to Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB).
