Glorious songs were heard. I thought we were entering into the a heavenly choir of angels who were singing praises to Jesus. He alone is worthy of all glory.

O the glory..
Of Your presence..
We Your temple give You reverence.

As Your presence now fills this place.

What brings your joy down deep in your soul when you meet the Lord in His place of worship? For You are glorious and worthy to be praised, You are the Lamb upon the throne and unto You we lift our voice in praise. You are the Lamb upon the throne.
The joy of the Lord is our strength. He will help us, He will guide us our steps towards heaven. Then we hear the voice of the Lord. I have not left you all alone in this world. I have not died in vain... I am alive forever more. I will speak to You in the depths to your soul.
During the day and during the night I will visit you with my mercy. Listen to My voice as you read My word. I am coming soon and My reward is with Me.

All glory, all praise, all honor to Jesus who brings to our hearts, peace, joy and happiness when we glorify His holy name. He will never ever forget those things we do for others in the name of the Lord. Keep attending church, be faithful and true to the Lord till He calls us home to heaven.

The entrance of my church is like entrance to heaven. We can hear praises singing to Jesus like the angels in heaven are singing right now. Sing your praises to the Lord. He delights in the songs you sing to Him.

Music has a special place in my life..There are different types of songs but sometimes when I feel weak in my spirit, when I can't sense the nearness of God, or even when I need a refreshing in my life I make a deliberate effort to listen to Gospel music.
Sometimes it might be those good old hymns that we hardly sing in churches today. Songs that our grandpa, grandma used to sing, such as
1. When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of Glory died.
2. What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
3. Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but now I see.
4. I am thine, oh Lord, I have heard thy voice.
5. Lord Jesus, I long to be perfectly whole, I want you forever to reign in my soul.
6. There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel's veins. And sinners plunge beneath the flow, loose all their guilty stains.
When we listen to the words of such songs we realize that many of these were written by inspiration, or because of a personal experience that they have had. Surely they help us to get back in focus with God and to take a little time out with Jesus because He took the time to die on the cross.
Yet also I really appreciate the praise and worship songs. One of my favourites is:
He alone is worthy. Another one is entitled "Holy". It says Are you Lord God Almighty? Worthy is the Lamb. There is also this chorus from a song sung by The Grace Thrillers which is also used in this way which says "Come to my soul, Blessed Jesus, Hear me oh Saviour divine.
Even as I am writing this article I feel the thrill. I have deliberately listed these songs to help someone, especially the younger folks who might be more familiar with the modern day songs. Everything works together for good to them that Love the Lord.
